Hello fellow DIYers. My parents have an old Kenmore 700 series dryer bought used last year and now we can’t run it with the “check lint screen” light on. I’ve cleaned the filter area and vent hose. I took the back panel off to see if the foam seal around the vent needed to be replaced but there is no foam seal there. Do I add a foam seal?. Berk tek

When I push Power on, selected cycle lights illuminate, and check lint screen light every time. When Start is depressed, check lint screen light extinguishes but dryer does not start.
