The reasons to play it are the highish apm, high mobility, high stagger, high destruction, two built in class dashes, and general tankiness. Lost ark doesn’t really have a way to test class in the mid tier 3 content. The class testing is bad and the one in the training area too. I used up all 9 of my KT and I’m still trying to find my “perfect” roster. Idc about class popularity I want to have fun while playing my classes.Artillerist isn't really that ranged. Hi, the "best" classes are the most desired ones and can find any party they want: are supports (Paladin and Bard). Another desired class is Gunlancer because is a good dps, tanky af, and can shield+dispell debuff the party which is the most support oriented from dps classes.With that being said my top 3 picks for highest DPS when played properly are Barrage Artillerist, Igniter Sorc, and Empress Arcana. My personal pick being Arty due to the massive amount of push-immunity allowing you to greed entire rotations where most classes would have to reposition or dodge. 8.Deathblade, shadow hunter, berserker, sorc are really fun to level, because they don't require you to think at all during the leveling phase, it's just a straight playstyle with eye-candy skills. Nice, that sounds right up my alley. Sorc looks super fun but I worry the experience may be too similar to artillerist. Get 10 points into charged shot to make it instant cast as fast as you can.
